Philip McCauley graduated from Queen's University Belfast Dental School in 1999. After a year in general practice Philip then worked for a year as a Senior House Officer in the Oral Surgery department at Poole General Hospital gaining valuable experience in dentoalveolar surgery as well as passing the MFDS examination in May 2001.

Philip completed the osseointegrated year course at the Walpole Street Practice in June 2002 and has been placing and restoring implants in general practice since November 2002. In January of 2005 Philip took up a part time post at the Walpole Street Practice working closely with Dr Eddie Scher who runs a well renowned implant referral practice in Chelsea, West London. In July 2005 Philip was awarded a Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Philip also lectures on the use of implants for restoration of missing teeth to other dentists.
